GROCERY RETAIL PLAYING A CENTRAL ROLE IN THE MARKET

The 2021 edition of MARCAbyBolognaFiere, the leading event for Private Label Products, in which the Grocery Retail sector plays a central role, will also provide the first opportunity for key players in the market to discuss and analyse their responses and strategies implemented to deal with the unpredictable scenario caused by the Covid-19 pandemic worldwide in 2020.

THE BOLOGNAFIERE BOARD HAS APPROVED THE 2019 DRAFT FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

Today, BolognaFiere’s Board of Directors held its second meeting since the beginning of the Covid-19 emergency. The meeting provided the opportunity to approve the 2019 Draft Financial Statements, which will be presented for approval at the next shareholders’ meeting, and to reflect on the important results achieved during the three-year mandate of the current Board led by President Calzolari, which will be completed with the approval of the 2019 Draft Budget.

BOLOGNAFIERE: PRESIDENT AND BOARD AGREE TO REDUCE THEIR OWN SALARIES

The President of BolognaFiere, Gianpiero Calzolari, and the board of directors have agreed to reduce their own salaries by 50% in view of the delicate economic situation that the country is experiencing because of the Covid-19 emergency and the resulting lockdown.

Cersaie 2020 will be held in Bologna from 9 to 13 November. “The healthiness of ceramics for rethinking home design and architecture” is the title of the 38th show.

Cersaie 2020 is being moved to new dates and will adopt a safer, more engaging and more international exhibition format. The show will be held in the Bologna Exhibition Centre from 9 to 13 November and will maintain the events and appointments that have made it a global benchmark for the world of ceramic tile, bathroom furnishings, design and architecture.

Supporting the pet supplies industry during COVID-19 crisis: Interzoo and Zoomark announce new slots

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and in the best interest of trade fair attendees as well as the pet supplies industry, the organizer of INTERZOO, WZF (Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe GmbH), and BolognaFiere S.p.A., organizer of ZOOMARK INTERNATIONAL, will both postpone their respective biennial events by one year. INTERZOO will now be held in June 2021 and ZOOMARK INTERNATIONAL in May 2022.

The Free From Hub will make its official debut at the 32nd edition of SANA, the international exhibition of natural and organic products, due to take place at BolognaFiere from 3 to 6 September 2020.
