The international Water Exhibition moves to 23 – 25 June 2021
New venues, innovative exhibition pathways and new initiatives for the event dedicated to the water industry
New dates have been announced for the 2021 edition of H2O, the event organized by BolognaFiere that is a reference point for the Italian water services industry and a forum at which to discuss the sector’s most pressing issues. The pandemic, and subsequent government measures to contain it, was behind BolognaFiere’s decision to postpone the dates of the in-person event (initially scheduled for the month of May) to 23 – 25 June 2021 with the aim of creating the best possible conditions both for planning for and hosting the event.
The postponement of the event, which at every edition sees the participation of the leading companies and top international experts, will provide greater guarantees regarding international connections and, therefore, the participation of foreign operators.
H20 2021 will be taking place in a renewed form concerning both its venues and contents, which will be even more specialized and focussed on the most innovative fields.
This year the visiting operators will be hosted in pavilions 25, 26, 31 and 32 as well as the Service Centre at the Bologna Exhibition Centre, thereby facilitating a more effective development of the exhibition layout at H2O.
The exhibition pathways of the coming edition, dedicated to technologies, treatment, distribution systems and digital, will have a central focus on the theme of sustainability and will further reinforce the position of H2O, emphasising its role as a meeting place for technology firms, utilities, public administrations and buyers open to civil, industrial and agricultural compartments; but also a place in which markets, research and regulatory systems can find develop close synergies, reinforcing the event’s position, which its stakeholders have always recognised.
Extending the exhibition offer of this edition of H2O are new initiatives, dedicated to fields with high levels of innovation, resulting from the partnerships signed between BolognaFiere and InFieri and Mirumir. These include:
- the first edition of HESE- Hydrogen Energy Summit&Expo, an initiative focused on the sector of logistics and final use of hydrogen
- Dronitaly – an event aimed at the Italian community involved with drones, which will foster debate on the most contemporary and urgent issues relating to this technology, which is increasingly being applied to the management of networks and environmental protection
- the simultaneous hosting of ACCADUEO and ConferenzaGNL, the initiative aimed at promoting the direct use of LNG in the Euro-Mediterranean area.
