BOLOGNAFIERE GROUP ANNOUNCES THE POSTPONEMENT OF THE EVENTS SCHEDULED DURING THE MONTHS OF FEBRUARY AND MARCH 2020 IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MEASURES ADOPTED TO COUNTER THE NOVEL CORONA VIRUS (COVID-19)

In compliance with the orders and indications from the Italian authorities, beginning with the communications from the Ministry of Health and Minister Roberto Speranza, and the Emilia Romagna Regional Administration, and its President Stefano Bonaccini, the BolognaFiere Group announces the postponement, of a precautionary nature, of the events scheduled during the months of February and March 2020 at the Exhibition Centres in Bologna, Modena and Ferrara.

The Company has established, in accordance with the external organisers involved, the definition, as promptly as possible, of new dates for the events in order to inform the national and international business community and, in parallel, launch organisational activities for the rescheduled events following the precautionary directives for containing the spread of the virus. These directives dictate “the suspension of any demonstration, event or gathering of any nature in a public or private place for cultural, leisure, sporting purposes, whether taking place in a closed location or open to the public.”

The new dates for the events in question are:

BolognaFiere exhibition centre

  • LIBERAMENTE and OUTDOOR EXPO – new dates 24-26 April 2020
  • EUDI SHOW – new dates 27-29 November
  • COSMOPROF WORLDWIDE BOLOGNA/COSMOPACK – new dates 11-15 June 2020
  • IL MONDO CREATIVO – new dates 24-26 April 2020
  • BOLOGNA CHILDREN’S BOOK FAIR – new dates 4-7 May 2020
  • BOLOGNA LICENSING TRADE FAIR – new dates 4-5 May 2020
  • The new dates for the events ALMA ORIENTA, CAREER DAY, TANEXPO and FAMAART are currently being organised

Modena Exhibition Centre

  • VERDI PASSIONI – the event has been suspended
  • UNIMORE ORIENTA – new dates are being organised

Ferrara Exhibition and Convention Centre

  • SEALOGY – new dates 20-22 November 2020

The dates communicated today could be subject to further alterations dictated by the need to optimise the relevant international fair calendars, in a global scale, in relation to similar problems with a view to avoiding potential event clashes.
